Façades Promenade

Brief

In this self-initiated passion project we developed a series of animated facades of Melbourne's local cafes and restaurants, with different ambiences, which once put together, recollect the eclectic feel of the city's most popular neighbourhoods.

Process

Combining handcrafted miniature sets with digital animation, we produced micro-narrative scenes based on the spaces architectural and cultural heritage. Through minimalistic design, colours and animation techniques, along with some entertaining sound effects and music, our intent was for the videos to feel fun, familiar and federative to the local community and beyond.
