City of Perth - WinterFest
Brief
Each year, the city of Perth celebrates Winter with a unique festival entitled Winterfest. To promote the festivities we were asked to create a series of 3 short TV commercials (15 secs each) highlighting the festival's activities and its fun atmosphere.
Process
We went all out by animating frame by frame an entire closet of winter clothes on a lifesize canvas half the size of a tennis court! With half a dozen unique characters and larger than life props this was both a technical feat and quite a physical challenge to pull off. Working with our amazing producers in Perth, Jemma and Troy from ZAC Creative. This project was a lot of fun and turned out to be a real success for the client.

Animatic
One of the challenges of this project was to animate multiple characters from head to toe performing complex actions, like climbing, dancing or juggling. This required careful planning and a very precise Animatic to make sure each timing was right.
